Aimed at those who have already taken the initiation or beginners course and want to expand the experience by one or several days.

Also to those who wish to fly in our area and want to be accompanied and supervised by our school instructors.

Goals:

Acquire the skill level required to perform high altitude flights with autonomy, perfecting flight techniques, landing approach and landing, taking advantage of the conditions for ascent so  the flight can be longer and practicing maneuvers of quick descent.

Prepare the student to do the tests of the Federación Aérea Catalana and obtain the degree of advanced paragliding student, allowing you to fly without being supervised by the school.

It includes:

Ongoing support and advice from several instructors.

Not included:

Shuttle to the takeoff spot: 5€ per lift.

This course is aimed at those who have already taken the initiation paragliding course and want to get better at this sport. Also to those who have been some time without flying and want to go back to it and catch up in terms of practicing, techniques, materials, etc.

Acquire the skill level required to perform high altitude flights with autonomy, perfecting flight techniques, landing approach and landing, taking advantage of the conditions for ascent so  the flight can be longer and practicing descent maneuvers. Prepare the student to do the tests of the Federación Aérea Catalana and obtain the degree of advanced paragliding student, allowing you to fly without being supervised by the school.

Duration:

With your own equipment: 6 days and a maximum of 15 flights.

With school equipment: 4 days and a minimum of 10 flights.

Requirements:

• Having completed the introductory course.
• Have federative license.

The course includes:

• Theoretical and practical training for an advanced level.
• Permanent accompaniment from instructors.
• Flight records, where the flights are recorded with their duration, location, etc. This is necessary for obtaining the advanced student paragliding title.

Not included:

Transportation (you can use the school’s shuttle service – additional charge € 5 per lift)

Course development:

It takes place on weekends and  on weekdays when there are enough students. Trainees meet in the school, where the material is reviewed and transportation for the takeoffs is prepared. Then the transportation towards the most suitable takeoff point depending on weather conditions at the time is done, and assisted by the instructor, the takeoffs start. In subsequent flights, there will be exercises and maneuvers that will allow us to control the flight under normal circumstances. The level achieved by each student to continue and advance in the  learning will always be taken into account.
