INTRODUCTION TO PARAGLIDING (1 DAY): 175 €
This paragliding course is aimed at those who want an introduction to the sport of paragliding.
Goals:
Acquiring experience in driving the glider to better understand the sensations that we have when flying in a tandem with an instructor.
Course duration:
The duration is one day.
Requirements:
No knowledge of flying is necessary only the will to start paragliding and normal physical conditions. The required minimum age of students is 14 years old and if you’re a minor, parental authorization for the activity will be necessary.
The course includes:
Theoretical training. Paragliding training in a field. A tandem flight. The glider, a chair, a helmet and a radio.
INTRODUCTION TO PARAGLIDING (2 DAYS): 285€
Aimed at those who want an introduction to the sport of paragliding.

Acquiring experience in handling the glider so you can perform flights with the help of a winch.
Course duration:
The duration is 2 days, which can be a weekend.
Requirements:
No knowledge of flying is necessary only the will to start paragliding and normal physical conditions. The required minimum age of students is 14 years old and if you’re a minor, parental authorization for the activity will be necessary.
The course includes:
Theoretical and practical training. The glider, a chair, a helmet and a radio. All scheduled flights will be carried out as long as the student has reached the level of maturity to be able to fly alone, otherwise a two-seater pedagogical flight will be carried out.
INTRODUCTORY COURSE (4 TO 6 DAYS): 530€
This course is aimed at everyone who wants to paraglide without prior knowledge and with the assistance of seasoned instructors. The course is taught in the town of Ager (Lleida).
Characteristics:
In the first part of the course we will learn the basic parts of a paraglider and then we will perform exercises in the ground to familiarize ourselves with its handling. During the course, we will use a combination of practice work in the field along with guided flights that may include some didactic tandem flights with the instructor, obtaining a sensation of great security, since the learning is done very progressively. At the end, the student will make several flights between 400m and 900m of altitude radio-assisted by an instructor who will signal the maneuvers to be performed.
Goals:
Acquire basic knowledge for paragliding with radio-assistance by an instructor.
Duration:
Between 4 and 6 days, depending on weather conditions. There is the possibility of doing it on weekdays or weekends.
Requirements:
You don’t need prior paragliding knowledge, you only need to be eager to learn and fly. All children under 14 years old must bring an authorization from their parents or guardians. You need to bring appropriate footwear (hiking boots or similar).
The course includes:
- Theoretical and practical training at the level of initiation.
- Flights from 400 m. up to 1000 m. of altitude.
- The glider, a chair, a helmet and a radio.
- A total of 5 mountain flights and 2 pedagogical tandem flights.
- Flight ID where the flights taken will be recorded.
- Transportation to the slope where we do the takeoffs.
Because during this stage we need gentle breezes to help us with the management of the paraglide, we will avoid the strongest winds that usually happen in this area at noon and that would hinder us with the control of the glider, for this reason, we will use these hours to do the theoretical classes which will help us to learn those aspects that enable us to better understand paragliding. Generally we spend between 6 and 8 hours a day teaching those lessons. The practical sessions start early in the morning.
FIRST DAY
We do it in a very broad and obstacle-free field with a slight slope which facilitates us the practice of the exercises.
Tasks to be performed:
We’ll start by introducing the material provided by the school for the student to understand how it works and the name of its different parts. At this stage it is essential to learn to put on the harness and acquire safety habits.
-Exercises of inflation and paragliding handling with light wind, with which we will learn the takeoff tecnique so we can familiarize ourselves with the feel of its handling which will allow us to learn how to control it.
-Understanding the brake control of the glider and its role doing turns by performing glider racing with the glider inflated.
SECOND DAY
Tasks to be performed:
-Exercises of paragliding inflation with which we will practice the feeling of taking off doing small races slowing down in a smooth and controlled way in the practice field. Beginning in this phase, the student will always have a radio through which he will receive the appropriate instructions from the instructor.
-Tandem flights: Flights of great educational value, since the student flies alongside the instructor who corrects errors during landing maneuvers and with the tranquility of not being alone during practice.
THIRD AND FOURTH DAY
Without a doubt this is the part of the course that all students wait with more eagerness. During these days we will take off from the mountain and we will reach an altitude of between 450 and 1000m.
Tasks to be performed:
-We’ll put into practice everything learned in the previous days and enjoy the incredible sensation of flying by ourselves, only with the assistance of an instructor in the takeoff zone and in the landing, that at all times will give us the appropriate instructions to make us feel completely safe and enjoy the very great feelings that paragliding provides, while at the same time advancing in our learning.
-Custom-learning, because everyone has their own pace and we adapt to it.
The course includes insurance, all the necessary equipment and transportation to the practice areas and the different takeoff areas where the flights will be done. If we have bad weather in the dates chosen for the course, the course will be extended until completion.
