Discover the Mont-Rebei gorge!
The spectacular Mont-Rebei gorge was formed where the Noguera Ribagorzana river cuts through the ‘Sierra de Montsec’ and divides the ridge into 2 parts; the ‘Montsec d’Ares’ on the Catalan side and ‘Montsec del Estall’ in Aragon.
The setting is impressive; the walls rise vertically to a height of about 500m and at some points the gorge is just 20m wide.
In 2013, a new and exciting route through the gorge was constructed in the form of a zigzag stairway that scales the sheer wall and connects with a suspension bridge over the river.
We offer you several options so that you can choose according to your personal likes and ability and the time you have available. Kayak-Trek LA PERTUSA
Leaving from the dock at Corçà, you paddle across the lake passing the head of the gorge and return via the path up to the Roman chapel at Pertusa

- Walking distance: The Montrebei congost + The pertusa road (14 km.).

Kayak-Trek MONTFALCÓ. The stairs.
Leaving from the dock at Corçà, you cross the lake by kayak to the Aragon side where you leave the kayaks and take the path to the spectacular zigzag staircase and back to the dock at Montfalcó where the motor boat will be waiting for you.

- Walking distance: The Aragon road (9.5 km.)
- Walking distance: The Montrebei congost + The Aragon road (13.7 km.).

Kayak-Trek Mont-Rebei Light
It’s the ideal choice if you wish to enjoy the congost’s Kayak-Trek with minimum effort. The itinerary on foot runs along the path dug in the rock and ends at the pier of the Seguer Suspension Bridge, where you will be picked up by the Aqua Bus and it will take you to the Corçà jetty.

- 5 km walking distance (accumulated ascension 117 m.).

The access to the Congost path from the Seguer pier (hanging bridge), where you disembark by kayak and boat, is through a natural stone ramp of about 55º-60º. The ramp has ropes that facilitate the ascent and descent and the adherence is good. Although this access is suitable for people with normal mobility, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Caution must be taken when getting off to access the pier.

OUT IN A BOAT - RETURN WALKING. The same possibilities as Kayak but in a motorboat.

Once crossed the gorge, the return journey starts on La Pertusa path.

EXCURSION BY MOTOR BOAT
Fancy Mont-Rebei without any effort? Then this is for you! Suitable for all ages you can enjoy the natural secluded parts of the lake that are impossible to access except from the water.
Mont-Rebei by motor boat:
